OUTERWEAR DESIGNER

Position Overview:

In this role you will oversee the design from concept through to final product based on the direction from the Design Director.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design from concept through to final product based on the direction from the Design Director 
• Assist with creating and adhere to the design calendar
• Create initial tech packs for development
• Develop line based on merchandise plan and market trends while designing brand-right designs that offer newness and identify new business opportunities 
• Review sketches and prototypes in collaboration with Senior Design Director 
• Assist Technical Design team with all fittings

Qualifications:

• 3 TO 5 years  Design experience in outerwear
• 5 years Illustrator experience
• Clean and clear technical sketches are a MUST
• Must have able to manage high volume workload and problem solve
