Our client, located in Dollard Des Ormeaux is currently looking for a Controller who will be responsible for managing daily, monthly and year-end accounting activities. There is room for growth within the organization as the CFO will be nearing retirement in the not too distant future.
The company has two locations, the Montreal offices have four people. The President, a purchasing person, one remote employee and the Controller. 


In charge of daily accounts payable functions (there will not be accounts receivable duties)
Preparation of the Bi Weekly payroll (fixed salaries)
Handle journal entries and month end closing process
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Manage and comply with provincial & federal reporting requirements & tax filings
Prepare year-end file for auditors
Miscellaneous office administration and day to day tasks

3-5 years in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Strong accounting & analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, strong sense of urgency 
Organized, autonomous, detail oriented, proactive and having a good sense of judgement and team player.
Bilingual (English & French)
Proficient with Excel and spreadsheets
Job Type: Full-time. Hours are flexible (work from home a possibility)
Required language: English and French written and verbal
