Main Duties:
- Oversee the inventory, picking, packing and shipment of goods
- Dealing with receiving issues/problems, as they arise, with the 3PL facility
- Help manage the opening of another 3PL facility, if required
- Create, maintain and update shipment documents (Including but not limited to B13, commercial invoice and packing slips)
- Arrange transportation either it being ocean or by air
- Negotiate rates with freight carriers
- Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and any related follow-up with our suppliers
- Verify proper harmonized codes for customs clearance
- Preparing and submitting POs to suppliers
- Correspondence with local and international suppliers dealing with issues
- Provide support to the Pricing & Sourcing and Operations departments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Has a car and a driving licence
- A minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in following, enforcing and updating procedures
- Excellent communications skills
- Organizational ability, prioritization and follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Bilingual in French and English
