Our customer one of North America’s best supplier of home furnishings to mass market retailers and home products online Retailers is currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator since implementing a new MRP software. This position will support the Purchasing Manager and work closely with the Asian office as well as the planning, logistics and operations departments.

Responsibilities:
Generate and issue all Purchase orders in MRP and keep information updated with ship dates, quantities and pricing
Daily monitoring of new messages in MRP and take action on messages that affect planning, logistics or production
Manage all sample orders and communicate with customers regarding ship dates and tracking numbers
Work with Freight management system in order to up keep all ETA’s and resolve issues accordingly
Update all HTS Code listings and duty rates
Requirements:
3 years of experience in a purchasing position with overseas manufacturing
Experience with a Freight Management system would be considered an asset.
Strong computer skills including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong English communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
