Sales Manager – IT

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

This is a permanent role and the compensation package consists of a base + commissions model.

MUST have experience in IT or systems analysis
selling or recording services

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and budiling customer relationships
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Typically, your specific responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and increasing sales 
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  • Servicing the needs of your existing customers
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole
  • Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach target

Desired skills & experience:

• Sales background (selling software services preferred)
• Driven by commissions
• Enjoy working with smaller growing organizations
• Developing a sales team

Qualifications:
Education 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or technical equivalent. 
• Masters in Business Administration 

Experience 
• Minimum direct sales experince 5 years 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technology company working in an R&D environment involving advanced networking

Key Competencies: 
• Proven business development experience with the ability to close 
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are a requirement 
• Demonstrated excellent proficiency in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM software (Salesforce) 
• Knowledge of Social Media is an asset
