Responsibilities include: 

• Preparing technical designs of garments using Illustrator 
• Working closely with Design and Buying teams 
• Comparing the garment sample to the specs created by the design team 
• Correcting fit issues and communicating changes to the overseas makers using Excel and Illustrator 
• Verifying samples before fitting and correct garment after fitting 
• Maintaining accurate product size and fit specifications in the finished garment 

Successful Candidate Profile includes: 

• 3-5 years of relevant experience 
• Strong Illustrator and Excel skills 
• Thorough knowledge of industry standard garment construction techniques 
• Ability to work in collaborative team environment, as well as work independently 
• Proficient knowledge of commercially available textiles and textile products 
• Bilingual, with strong communication skills in English 
• Patternmaking background, an asset 
• Excellent organizational skills in order to respect deadlines 
• Able to work in a fast past environment
