Ecommerce Specialist

The E-commerce Specialist position has 2 to 3 years’ experience with an online retailer and is familiar with web marketing channels. This position is also responsible for site merchandising, social media, content production and seasonal launches, overall site content standards and best practices. The Specialist will set and enforce quality standards and coordinate projects with internal and external teams. This position will lead the websites and marketing of the company’s two brands and is responsible for the sales and KPIs associated to the online channel.

Creation & maintenance of product SKUs to align with merchandise receptions, sales & product pushes and all digital marketing efforts to drive sales.
Assures accuracy of product descriptions, images, specifications & associated files and materials.
Monitors inventory levels for merchandise categories to assure optimal allocation to web store.
Proactive in advising on potential site improvements – from merchandising tactics to user experience.
Provides CEO with trending category performance with actionable take-aways to drive demand and conversion. Also identifies unique, underdeveloped, or emerging categories based on web analytics, competitive landscape, and customer feedback.
Work closely with production team and coordinating the acquisition of samples/products as they become available for ecomm shoots and assigning priority for e-comm photoshoots.
Responsible for the implementation of a digital marketing calendar that includes an email strategy and social media content strategy.
Help to further implement SEO strategies under the guidance of agencies if needed.
Update & Optimize website structure to ensure good UX
Responsible for implementing new website features & conversion enablers
Responsible for creating and updating all website content (product pages, landing pages, web banners,

homepage) and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, tik tok, e-mails).
Work and co-ordinate with graphic designer to ensure a branded look and feel.
Work closely with web consultants, Social media agencies and Digital Ad agencies to challenge and monitor strategy and results.
Ensure that budgets are respected.

University Diploma or bachelor’s degree
Other skills required:
Experience building and managing product information for online retailers
Understanding of site merchandising best practices
Strong analytical approach in understanding and harnessing the power of web analytics
Experience with product/content information, management systems
Strong communication skills and is fluently bilingual (French/English) both written and spoken
Lightspeed, Facebook, Instagram and Google Analytics experience are assets
Fashion industry experience is a plus
