Our client, a leading manufacturer of both branded and private label womenswear, is looking for a Head Designer for their Ladies Knit Tops division.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and growth of our knit tops department;
Accurately identify market trends and colors;
Shop/ merchandise for styling ideas;
Coordinate with supply chain on styling options and style creation and line development;
Work on graphic presentation such as customer boards and cads, hangtags, etc.;
Sketch geometrical of garments and prepare specs using illustrator / file maker;
Preparation of sample requests for customer presentation;
Coordinate styling presentations and line reviews

Requirements:
Certified diploma in Fashion design;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in women’s sportswear;
Excellent knowledge of design software Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent knowledge of technical garment construction and garment specs;
The ability to follow up and organize material and recognize priorities;
The ability to work well within a team and experience in a fast pace private label ladies’ fashion.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in women’s sportswear;
