Our apparel manufacturer client is looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Director to add to their growing team!
Overview:
Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving daily
Improve operational systems, processes and best practices to ensure operations are run smoothly, efficiently and cost-effectively
Ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to
Contribute to the achievement of company’s strategic objectives
Daily reporting to VP Finance

Responsibilities:
Logistics/Inventory Management:
Inventory management
Create end of month report
Track sales monthly and open orders
Oversee all record keeping (costing)
Operations/Project Management:
Warehouse optimization – review and suggest improvements
Prepare retail orders, ensure compliance, and manage shipments via vendor portals
Organize loading and unloading of shipments
Oversee Data processing and EDI
Oversee import logistics
Keep up to date on all processes for orders
Verify all invoices and approval of payments to suppliers
Oversee IT
Building maintenance – Coordinate with Landlord as needed
Inventory management
Create end of month report

Qualifications:
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Operations Management
Proven 5 to 10 years experience as Operations and Warehouse management
Experience in developing and executing a wide range of projects
Experience in developing, maintaining or executing scalable and stable processes
Knowledge of warehouse processes and best practices
Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
In-depth understanding and Experience with Momentis ERP
IT knowledge – asset
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral English and French
A passion for Fashion industry is a plus
