Our client, a leading importer of golf and ski apparel, is looking for an experienced Assistant Designer to add to their team.
Responsibilities:
Main contact of overseas suppliers for design and development of the ski and direct to consumer product division
Assist the head designer for any design and development task when needed
Flat sketching of new design ideas
Research prints and new designs
Manage all lab dip and trims approvals
Create and update tech packs
Attend fit sessions, measure, comment and update tech packs with design changes
Evaluate prototypes
Communicate with overseas suppliers
Qualifications:
Min 2 years experience in fashion industry
Strong organizational skills
Team player
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel knowledge
Fashion Design studies
