Description:

Research (online, original samples, trip pictures), trend board design, fabric/color direction, sketching bodies for private label customers, create and update storyboards.

Daily communication with makers to ensure time frames for sample development and production, source new fabrics and trims.

Act as support of director of merchandising and design, research and product development. Participate in final selection of boards, ensuring that all info is correct.

Manage several projects at once, work closely with internal and external partners and makers. 

 Requirements:

College degree in fashion design or University certificate in fashion design.

Technical background

3-5 years experience in a similar position in the fashion industry, experience with fabric

Licensing and apparel experience an asset

Illustrator, office, excel, outlook

Strong english, functional french
