Responsibilities:

Sample product development, follow up with makers to ensure timely delivery. 

Prepare technical sketches to be sent to overseas makers for sample development.

Work closely with production team to receive specs and patterns needed for costing and counter sample teck packs.

Maintain counter sample log, create internal fabric library for costing. Identify best fabrication and construction techniques for each style.

Send fabric and trim quality to makers.

Trouble shoot, alert manager

Communicate daily with team and factories to ensure that sampling to production is flowing smoothly and on time.

Qualifications:

College degree in fashion design or a University certificate in fashion design

3-5 years of experience in fashion design and product development as well as fabrics

Kids and infants experience, licensing experience an asset.

Illustrator, office, excel, outlook
