Responsibilities:
Work closely with Sourcing and production team to develop new products: monitor market for new ideas, occasional travel to shop stores or attend trade shows.
Track samples for product development, ensure that they’re being approved for production on time.
Follow up with customers to execute on orders, verify prices, follow up on sales performance, trouble shoot.
Act as main contact person for the customers, internal production and logistic departments.
Perform various administrative tasks such as preparing sales and inventory reports.
Following up on customer and internal requests.
Responsible for the internal execution of orders and order details (working with production and logistic departments)
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in both French and English
Knowledge of EDI, Excel, Word and Outlook
Client care skills, experience dealing directly with the buying offices of major retail chains (Walmart, Sears, The Bay, Stokes, Zone, etc)
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and manage follow up
Experience with major accounts processes
3-4 years of experience in the home fashion industry an asset
