Our fashion importer client is looking for an experienced Accountant to add to their growing team!
Responsibilities:
-Closing the month, AP, AR and GL
-Bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations
-Calculation and reporting of Amortization, Prepaids and Accruals
-Financial reporting and assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements
-Preparation of the year end Audit file
-GST/TVQ Declarations
-FX adjustments
-Intercompany Loan reconciliation
-Preparation and posting of Journal entries
-Offering support to the accounting team and ensuring that entries are properly recorded
-Calculation of volume rebates
Requirements:
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an accountant, bonus points if you have experience in the fashion industry
-Fluently bilingual
-Experience with full cycle accounting
