Graphic Designer

- Prepare design files for print production, ensuring all details and specs are communicated to overseas suppliers;
- A strong understanding of die-lines, print applications, decals for production and print output;
- Understand different product mediums and how to apply graphics on various fabrications. Example, on hosiery, home product lines and many other accessory goods;
- Precise, detailed and efficient overseas communication to accomplish sampling output;
- Review design samples and production to ensure design quality control;
- Manage your own project communications and cross-functional relationships to ensure output and successful completion are appropriate throughout all channels;
- Collaborate with team to build graphic designs, prints, patterns, and typography for graphics on seasonal assortments;
- To understand the brand and market trends and how to translate that into graphic design for the Accessories Department;
- To be inspired by fashion, graphic design & retails trends and then to successfully translate into product graphic design;
- Collaborate with the collection builders and packaging department, on graphic design concepts for packaging development. Packaging mock ups and file adjustments;
- Assist teams on building inspirational boards, mood boards, market research presentations;
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design, or related area of study;
- Minimum of two (2) years of pertinent experience preferably in the retail industry or product graphic design.
- Experience with preparing files for print production.
- Extensive knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.
- Very strong creativity and conceptualization skills.
