Reporting to the President, this is an excellent opportunity for the person who wants to build a career in Fashion with a well-established and fast-growing fashion and brand licensing consulting company.

Based in Montreal you will have the opportunity to be involved in Canadian, US & International Consulting.

This is a 95% a work from home opportunity with potentially some travel.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient candidate to join our team. 

• Attend remotely and summarize zoom /phone calls with Brands and clients and develop a “next steps “to do list
• Research, identify and contact new clients to expand customer base.
• Research, identify new Brands to expand opportunities.
• Generate leads via research online /trade magazines/fashion magazines/, retail visits /network 
• Procure contact information of key executives
• Customer Service follow up via email and telephone.
• Complete client product specification forms including term sheets, email summary offers.
• Send out customer presentations, samples, and photo images.
• Organization of customer database
• Handle customer inquiries, opportunities, and support sales.
• Update customer records in the company database as required.
• Schedule customer appointments including zoom invites, agenda set-up, note taking, sales, etc.
• Maintain “to do /priority” list on a daily basis.
• Maintain company global agenda of appointments, trade shows, travel, etc.
• Prepare weekly update reports of major accounts.
• Research & identify new accounts to expand customer base.
• Assist with special projects and assignments maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

The business has a wide range of activities but includes the below:

1) Generate leads via show attendance/research online /trade magazines/fashion magazines/, retail visits /network 

2) Calls to brand owner/

Intro e mail to brand owner 

3) Calls to potential clients 

Intro e-mail to potential clients 

4) Meet Brand owner or Importer and present Brand Appeal as a potential agent and explain the mandate terms etc.

 

5) Send and Negotiate Contract for Mandate from importer or Brand owner 

 

a)-set meetings (Licensor and licensee)

b) Procure brand information deck, analyze retail distribution of brand or potential licensee, etc.

c) Attend meetings 

d) Prepare a deal memo outlining the business terms

e) Negotiate terms

f) Receive and review contracts-negotiate contracts

 

Requirements

Strong Knowledge of Excel, Word, math and potentially Salesforce software

Knowledge of the Fashion and /or Licensing Industry

Ability to make cold calls
