Working with the management team, the Operations Director contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies and practices.
Responsibilities:
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission and to support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Oversee customer service, EDI, logistics and warehousing departments.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the various departments, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls.
Management of budget in coordination with the President.
Attend sales presentations as required.
Qualifications
BA in Business Administration or equivalent.
7-10 years of experience in an Operations Management position.
Strong knowledge of EDI, word and excel.
Experience with implementations of new Software Systems.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, fluently bilingual.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
Self-starter, excels at operating in a fast pace environment.
Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
