Our fashion industry client, located in the heart of Montreal’s fashion district, is looking for a bright and energetic Merchandiser and Sales Assistant to add to their growing team!
 
 
Showroom:
 
-Ensure showroom is clean, with a relevant collection for the selling season
-Review garments – confirm bestselling bodies are included
-Organize fabric headers by style & supplier [remove any sold out / old headers]
 
Styling:
 
-Research online/in-store new trends & fabrics for Ladies Clothing [Missy Contemporary + JR Markets]
-Forecast styling & fabric needs for next selling season
-Catch in season trends & translate them to the client
-Build portfolio of styles
-Work with patternmakers on new & pre-production fittings
– Seasonal meetings with fabric suppliers to review what’s new / their intentions for the upcoming season
 
Selling:
 
-Prepare for appointments;
-Assemble collection of new garments + bestselling bodies which best suit your appointment.
-Reach out to local suppliers + USA suppliers for the latest fabrics they have ready to sell
[ensure all information is correct – obtain yardage available, costs, whether it’s in stock or incoming]
-Keep a record of the last shipment[s] delivered to client – Review selling + have TOP samples on hand to show client
