As the Senior Manager of Fit and Spec Department, you will work closely with the Design, Product Development, Pattern, Fit and Production teams from first sample through to production, to set and maintain the highest standards of functionality, quality fit, and construction. You will be responsible for building and maintaining fit standards across all categories. You will lead the team by demonstrating great technical expertise as well as leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with design department to understand, execute and ensure their vision for fit.
- Conduct block reviews with design team. Plan, create and execute fit block library
- Lead, train mentor and coach the fit and pattern team
- Review grade rules and modify as required to ensure fit excellence, oversee pre production samples
- Establish fit & pattern standards, create long term fit strategies
- Plan workflow for fit team, patternmakers & samplemakers
- Own and maintain libraries and standards relating to: garment fit, block patterns and grade rules
- Communicate with overseas vendors to solve technical and quality issues
- Create 3D product development strategy
