Assurance quality manager

Growing company in the frozen food industry is looking to add an assurance quality manager to be the right arm of the Director in place. The company is currently growing and will offer a lot of responsibilities and opportunities in their Ville St-Laurent plant.

What you will do:

You will be in charge of 4 quality control technician and be held responsible for their productivity and success;

You will lead the development, implementation and the maintenance of the HACCP and SQF system;

You will manage the food safety programs, the regulatory visits and different audits;

You will be able to train all employees on food safety and quality process;

You will handle and investigate the cause and resolution of complaints;

You will be responsible for the implementation, the review and the update of the sanitation program;

You will oversee the Kosher, Organic and Non GMO program;

What would make you interesting for the company:

• Experience in the food industry;
• Experience in frozen fruits and vegetables;
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF and other food safety principles;
• Ability to communicate in French and English;
