Sales / Account Manager – Childrenswear

Our fashion importer client is looking for a qualified and passionate Sales / Account Manager to maintain and grow their existing childrens apparel business, as well as open up new accounts. 
• Manage existing key customer relationships;
• Manage a team of independent sales representatives;
• Develop new strategic partnerships to exploit our brands’ reach;
• Accountable for the coordination of all tradeshow exhibitions;
• Responsible for the direct sales of certain territories, both domestically and internationally;
• Responsible for the launch of a wholesale season, including strategic planning, sample coordination, product knowledge, and sales monitoring and reporting;
• Prepare and analyze in-depth Business Intelligence reports with stakeholders;
• Participate in sales campaigns with marketing department;
• Develop product knowledge kits for our brands’ collections;
• Responsible for the wholesale season’s calendar;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fashion and Apparel wholesale;
• University Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration;
• Goal oriented problem-solver;
• Strong selling and negotiation skills;
• Strong understanding of the children’s apparel market;
• Creative thinker with the ability to assist the marketing team;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and pivot tables;
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented;
• Able to travel, primarily to New York and Toronto, occasionally to West coast and South of the United States;
• Bilingual
