The function of the Digital Marketing Insight Analyst is to gather, interpret and distribute data needed to monitor the business using a variety of software tools. 

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, the Digital Marketing Analyst will perform all the various functions working with team members in the E-Commerce, Marketing, Operations, Order Processing, and Product Development areas. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Analyze and interpret customer verbatim data gathered using Clarabridge software to enable us to review what is being said about our products on the web (VoC). 
Create and update a variety of monthly/quarterly KPI reports, score cards and fact sheets focused on tracking digital customer satisfaction metrics 
Ensure data is accurately loaded into the tool and monitor customer feedback so that any relevant issues are brought forth to Product Development, Customer Service, Sales, and E-Commerce teams 
Analyze open text feedback and build Insight Dashboard 
Ensure data findings are distributed in report format to the user groups that require insight 

Data and Market Intelligence  
Monitor data from price scraper tool and liaise with development team to ensure scraper is working properly. Provide necessary weekly report to groups that require updates

Build qualitative reporting infrastructure to support internal departments with Consumer Insights and behavior, Market Intelligence and competitive analysis    
Work with implementation team on any additional software purchased to monitor the business 
Draft business requirements to request new functionality and issue tickets to report bugs
Create, automate, and update dashboards and reports 
Design customer experience market research projects (e.g., survey design, sampling plan, etc.) to optimize website satisfaction, online cart optimization, customer retention and audience building 
Analyse integrated data sets (surveys, clickstream & POS) to help optimize online conversion for specific customer segments across various touchpoint 
Customer Profiling and Segmentation for Marketing deployment 
Obtain consumer insights from behavioral, VoC, and transactional data 

Compile SEO data reports from key retailers and search engines (e.g. Google) 
Maintain bank of search terms for each product category (e.g. based on Amazon and Google most searched terms)  
Keep up-to-date on SEO trends and provide guidance to Content team to ensure SEO tactics are implemented properly 
Liaise with development team to ensure SEO terms are applied to web site 

Implement digital advertising programs and monitor results  
Gather and analyze data to determine effectiveness of campaigns  
Make adjustments to program where necessary 
Web Analytics reporting 

Produce Sales reports & charts and ad-hoc reporting as needed 
database queries then visualize data with excel 
Monitor key performance indicators 
Update Marketing Calendar with product launch dates and general information  
Administrative tasks including maintaining project lists and other internal metrics and reporting
