Our client, a secure fashion importer of ladies apparel is looking for an independent senior production coordinator to add to their team. In this role you will ensure the timeline for the production calendar is met. You’ll also have the chance to communicate with the overseas suppliers, handle lab dips & more.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the production cycle and budgets are met in a timely fashion.
- Work closely with the executive members in order to ensure that budgets are being respected.
- Coordinate all issues along the whole production process.
- Manage production schedules from sample approval until goods arrive in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all materials and trims are on time in order to meet strict deadlines.
- Oversee the fit, patternmaking, quality control and compliance processes.
- Follow up on garment production from a-z including placing purchase orders, art work, fabric, trims, lab dips, fitting & specification, and all necessary details approval.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience as a production manager/production coordinator in the fashion industry.
- Highly experience managing a team and delegating daily duties.
- Experience with trafficking
- Understanding of production cycle
- Knowledgeable with garment testing and CDA/USA regulations
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft, Illustrator)
