Our Montreal based fashion retail client is looking for a Senior Womenswear Designer to add to their womenswear label. They are looking for a passionate designer with experience in all categories of womenswear…tops, bottoms, and everything in between!
 
Requirements:
 
– Degree in fashion design
– Excellent knowledge of materials and innovations in fiber, dyeing, fiber blending, recycled fiber, organic, washing treatments, etc.
– Knowledge of knitwear
– Strong experience in computer drawing (photoshop and illustrator)
– Mastery of recoloring and creation of prints and graphic artwork
– Experience in predicting and interpreting fashion trends
– Experience in product development with overseas suppliers
– Experience in retail and the buying process is an asset
– Bilingual (English and French)
– Initiative, develop the brand through product branding, participate in the marketing launch
– Experience with fittings on mannequins or live models
