Our client, a leading sleepwear manufacturer is looking for a Fit and Spec Technician to add to their growing team! 
 
Responsibilities:

• Issue precise specs and detailed garment construction for prototype samples
• Assist in preparation of technical designs and tech packs of garments
• Prepare comments on the prototypes in a clear, descriptive and timely manner
• Communicate modifications to the overseas suppliers
• Ensure superior quality of the garments
• Maintain accurate product size and fit specifications in the finished garment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the industry
• Experience with children sleepwear garments an asset
• Experience with Wal-Mart an asset
• Able to create patterns and fix them (manually or by computer)
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction and fit
• Speak and write in English.
• Strong knowledge in excel (Adobe Illustrator an asset)
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
