Working for one of Canada’s leading importers of consumer products, the candidate will be involved with the president in all facets of his daily routine.
Responsibilities:
Building spreadsheets to calculate landed costs from our overseas suppliers.
Calculating selling prices for our major customers including terms packages, etc.
Preparing quotations for retailers and follow up.
Building PowerPoint presentations for marketing purposes.
Reviewing incoming and outgoing emails.
Co-ordinating meetings with merchandising staff.
Administration functions including, travel arrangements, credit card reconciliations and similar like functions.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of direct experience or additional experience in an import/export company.
Above average Excel skills, Word and PowerPoint knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate in French.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Background in apparel, fashion or other like industries would be an asset.
Knowledge of SAP Business One would be an asset.
