E-commerce Manager

Our client – a leader in childrens apparel is looking for a innovative E-commerce manager.

 Responsibilities include :

  • Develops new opportunities for strategic partnerships to promote brands
  • Builds brand awareness and to shift brand perception amongst relevant audiences
  • Performs the overall day-to-day management of the projects to ensure that all objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints
  • Responsible for project documentations including plans & status reports
  • Ensures all team members are adequately informed and are satisfied with each deliverable as it effects their specialist area
  • Oversees, strategizes and ensures launch of newly designed websites
  • Contributes project plans, timelines and any other critical input to larger site updates and keep all cross-functional partners on track for on-time launches
  • Works with Head of CRM to help strategize & track results
  • Works closely with creative teams and follows up to ensure all assets are coordinated in a timely manner
  • Leads the execution of ecommerce & digital marketing projects, including establishing and maintaining timelines, gathering all pertinent information, and proper follow-ups
  • Oversees all required assets for front-end of website including product images, product descriptions, French translations, web banners
  • Plans and coordinates with Visual, Ecommerce and Creative Departments to execute all digital / marketing initiatives
  • Requirements / Skills
  • 5-7 years+ experience as a Web Coordinator in Ecommerce – Fashion / Apparel industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual (English, French)
  • Working knowledge of Ecommerce technology operations –  Magento Enterprise Web Platform a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Email Marketing Software – Exact Target a plus
  • Excellent knowledge MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Analytical mindset, innovative thinker, and a collaborator
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, providing clear guidelines and milestones, and hold team accountable to assigned outputs
  • Ability to work independently under little guidance on several projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful relationships within a team and cross-functionally
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external teams and vendors, both verbally and in writing
  • Good presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Flexibility in work hours required
  • Passionate about Ecommerce & Omnichannel retail trends, and interest in having day to day ownership of shaping truly exceptional customer shopping experiences
