Our client, a leading importer of womenswear located in Lachine, is looking for an experienced fit and spec technician to add to their team.
 
Description:

• Assist in preparation of technical designs and tech packs of women’s garments using Illustrator
• Working closely with Design, buying and production teams on both branded and private label clothing
• Measure garments and correct fit issues, communicate changes to the overseas makers
• Maintain accurate product size and fit specifications in the finished garment
• Follow up and proceed with any changes related to Fit & spec in the tech packs

Requirements:

• Diploma in fashion design
• 5-7 years of experience in fitting of womens clothing (knits and woven)
• Knowledge of Illustrator, Excel and garment construction
• Experience in communicating with vendors
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and strong follow up skills
• Fluently bilingual
