Our fashion client is looking for a talented, energetic and motivated candidate to be part of their production Q.C. team!!
 

Responsibilities:

– Measure samples and compare against spec sheets
– Analyze samples for fabric quality and sewing workmanship, making sure they meet brand
standards
– Update tech packs, when needed, with spec or garment detail changes
– Communicate comments to factories with pictures and detailed sketches
– Provide technical recommendations to design team to help with consistency of fit and garment
construction
– Under designer supervision, review and approve production fabrics
– Work cross-functionally with Design, Import and Production teams on all technical and fit issues
– Work with production team to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sample approvals
 
Requirements:

– 5+ years experience
– Knowledge of English, written and spoken
– Comprehensive understanding of garment construction and size grading
– Proficiency with Excel and Illustrator
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to clearly write instructions on garment corrections
– Ability to meet deadlines
– Keen attention to detail
– Excellent sense of organization
