Responsibilities:

Use Adobe Illustrator to create flat sketches and technical packages with detailed information
including trims and artworks.
Assist and maintain cads, fabric cards and line sheets regularly.
Prepare presentation for sales team.
Follow-up on development samples to make sure that samples are received in timely manner.
Receive, analyze and comment proto samples to ensure they are up to fabrication, pattern, color,
trims, details and quality standards.
Collaborate with the designers to send approvals and comments overseas on a daily basis.
Stay updated on trends and explore new creative ideas through various medias such as internet,
magazines and shopping.
Use feedback from leaders to improve work.

Requirements:

College or University Degree in Fashion Design or related.
Up to 3 years of experience as an assistant Designer in Ladieswear and Menswear.
Must have a working knowledge of garment construction in both knit and woven items.
Solid computer proficiency – strong knowledge in Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop in MAC
environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English.
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure environment
Responsible, organized and initiative are a must.
Motivation to maintain improve design standards.
