Our client, a growing mens sportswear manufacturer, is looking for a talented, energetic and motivated Technical Designer to join their team! This person will be working closely with the Creative Director and Design Director.
 
 
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of English, written and spoken
o Knowledge and strong understanding of men’s apparel: cut-and-sew knits, woven shirts,
pants, outerwear, fully-fashioned knits
o 3+ years experience
o Proficiency with Excel and Illustrator
o Good communication skills, both written and verbal
o Ability to meet deadlines
o Accurate and precise attention to detail
o Excellent sense of organization
 
Responsibilities:
 
o Work closely with Creative Director and Design Director in developing collections
o Prepare tech packs including sketches
o Communicate instructions to factories/suppliers
o Follow up with factories/suppliers ensuring timely delivery of protos
o Check protos for measurements, quality of workmanship and design details
o Work with production team
