Customer Service Specialist

Our client, a menswear manufacturer, is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to add to their team!  This person will be a key point of contact between the company and its wholesale customers. The CSS is an important entry level position that can typically lead to more senior level roles in sales, merchandising or marketing.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Receives and processes new orders, and sells additional products by creating and sending digital line sheets 
  • Follows up on customers’ questions regarding existing orders and related company business
  • Creates and updates reports relating to daily sales
  • Maintains custom clothing “sold out” and “open to sell” listings
  • Provides general support to customers in the form of advice, recommendations and information that will enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Interacts with other departments including production, customer service, shipping, accounts receivable and outside sale staff in order to provide timely and quality service to customers
  • Meets and greets walk-in customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years fashion industry experience, preferably in sales/customer service
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, especially on the telephone
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients
  • Detail-oriented, excellent memory and well organized
  • Strong ability with numbers, price lists,  
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel/Word) and Windows based operating systems
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports/Tableau, and EDI order processing and Maintenance of 846 Feeds
  • Strong work ethics and organizational skills
  • Must be customer-focused and internet literate
