Our client, a consumer products distributor located in Lachine, is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Building Manager to add to their team!
 
Responsibilities:
 
– Manage warehouse, staff (approx 8) and operations 
– Ensure the quality, accuracy and safety of the warehouse staff
– Review and manage the customer shipping requirements – liaise with warehouse staff
– Manage customer orders – Re-shipping time lines and delegation for processing
– Assess and manage the order needs per inventory location
– Monitor and manage inbound goods for staffing and customer order integrity
– Advise management of potential order or receiving issues
– Review integrity of orders processed before submitting to billing
– Oversee and manage inventory control, processes and accuracy
– Review, report and consult of reports of cycle counts to finance and operations
– Assess, initiate and manage the needs of the warehouse operations, functions and efficiency
– Monitor and manage property integrity and maintenance
– Negotiate, manage and initiate building maintenance, contracts and repairs
– Manage integrity of warehouse condition, organization, cleanliness and equipment
– Validate and sign invoices for transport, supplies and equipment, repairs, etc.
 
Requirements:
 
– Minimum 5+ years of experience as a warehouse manager
– Proficiency with excel, word
– Fluently bilingual
– Experience managing the daily duties of a staff of at least 5 people
– Experience shipping to major retail chains such as Walmart
