Our client, one of Montreal’s leading clothing manufacturers, is looking for a dedicated Controller to oversee their accounting department. 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Reporting to the President and COO, the Controller will be responsible for the following:
· Oversee and complete all aspects of accounting including invoicing, payroll, receivables and payables.

• Manage and comply with provincial and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and assistance with requests from Officers
• Working with Operations to implement and oversee internal controls, monitor cost overruns and provide analysis.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual reporting for company Auditors.
• Assist with other projects as required.

 
Requirements:
 
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· CPA completed, or in-process (designation is a strong asset)
· Strong communication skills in both English and French.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role.
· Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
· Experience with ERP systems (experience with Visual Next is considered an asset).
· Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
· Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines for closing processes and project timelines.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
