Our fashion client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join their team!!! Your main responsibility will be to ensure that each design reflects their vision and adheres to precise construction specifications throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll play a pivotal role in the design team by delivering comprehensive Tech Packs, providing innovative solutions – both creatively and technically, and offering
valuable insights on samples and lab dips to meet business objectives.
 

Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with designers, fit team, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure
that product specifications are viable.
 Work closely with the sourcing and design team to ensure that the direction
of styles corresponds to the product purchased.
 Understand production time and action process
 Daily communication with factories
 Approval of lab dips and artworks
 Comment and approval on PP samples and production sample
 Create technical drawings and packages with the right specifications for the
product
 Ensure designs meet all technical and safety standards
 Analyze designs and determining required resources and project deadlines.
 Ensure all products conform to company standards and brand values.

Requirements:

 DEC in Fashion Design or relevant experience
 Min. 5 years of experience in apparel industry
 Wholesale experience (an asset), bonus points if you’ve worked with Costco 
 Childrenswear experience (an asset)
