Our client, a prestigious distributor of high-end European womenswear, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand their market presence in Quebec. This role is perfect for a self-starter who knows the ins and outs of the wholesale fashion industry and is eager to drive growth, build lasting retail partnerships, and shape the future of luxury fashion in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring their needs are not just met, but exceeded.
- Identify and onboard new luxury retail accounts through proactive outreach and road travel.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and brand visibility.
- Efficiently manage repeat orders, ensuring a seamless experience for retail clients.
Showroom, Merchandising & Product Presentation
- Curate stunning showroom displays that showcase each collection with style and elegance.
- Manage and organize product samples, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-maintained.
- Work closely with the team to create and execute merchandising strategies that reflect seasonal trends and best-sellers.
- Support trade shows and buying season presentations, creating memorable and engaging client experiences.
Agent Network & Market Insights
- Provide agents with up-to-date product knowledge, pricing details, and promotional materials.
- Act as a key liaison between agents and the company, ensuring alignment on sales goals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the game.
- Analyze sales data to make strategic recommendations for product replenishments and seasonal adjustments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the luxury womenswear industry, with a focus on European brands or wholesale fashion.
- A strong portfolio of retail clients that align with our client’s market.
- A natural relationship-builder with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a bonus.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car (travel is required).
- Passion for fashion trends, merchandising, and showroom presentation.
