A well-established apparel and accessories company located in Toronto is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Senior Administrative & Accounting Coordinator to support their executive office and finance operations. This is a vital role that combines high-level administrative responsibilities with day-to-day accounting functions, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the executive team, managing schedules, communications, and office organization
- Handle full-cycle accounts payable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly visa reconciliations and allocate expenses accordingly
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and month-end reporting
- Monitor and analyze company investments and provide relevant reporting
- Develop and maintain efficient and organized filing systems for both digital and paper records
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners as needed
- Manage competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and confidential information with discretion
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in a combined senior administrative and accounting support role
- Proven experience supporting executive-level leadership and managing office operations
- Strong background in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, financial reporting, and credit card allocations
- Experience analyzing and monitoring business investments is a strong asset
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
