Background in HVAC-Refrigeration in a hospital setting
Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with the with the expectation of some shift coverage on various other shift including Afternoon to Night and Overnight shifts.
Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, welding, drywall, and plaster.
High School minimum required
EPA refrigerant handling certificate

Mechanical / Electrical Equipment
Heating and cooling units and systems
Steam boilers
Heating
Air conditioning
Ventilation systems, and electrical/mechanical equipment
Take readings on boilers, chillers, HVAC, etc.
Maintains and repairs all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
Maintains refrigeration and associated equipment
Preventive maintenance and repairs
Initiates repairs/adjustments
Cleans coils, air handling equipment, and grease traps
Monitors temperature and humidity
Displays competency and performs duties of all levels and types.
Responds to emergencies
Removes snow and ice
Union Environment (flat hourly rate)
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion certificate in Trade Technical School
EPA refrigerant handling certificate
Good work experience in HVAC-Refrigeration in Healthcare or similar setting
