You have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 months in commercial and federal contract administration

 

Responsible for assisting the Director of Contracts in day-to-day Contract Administration and Procurement activities.

 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform all facets of pre-and post award contract administration for federal prime contracts and subcontracts.
Prepare contract summaries and maintain complete, current, and accurate progress reports on contract activity.
Maintain Organizational Project Sheet.
Maintain metrics on Contract Department performance. 
Foster and maintain sound and reliable relationships with counterparts in customer organizations.
Organize and maintain contract records.
Create and administer subcontract documents and records.
Create and review Teaming Agreements and NDAs.
Participate in review of RFP contractual requirements and preparation of proposals. 
Create and Maintain up-to-date company records in various federal databases, such as SAM.gov and CPARS.
Update existing Contracts Summaries and create new Contracts Summaries as needed.
Assist with Contracts Administration and Procurement/Purchasing activities as needed.
Participates in annual Contracts Administration training.
Assists Contracts Director as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets :

Familiarity with Procurement/Purchasing Activities.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing federal IT support contracts, including federal FAR, DFAR, and CAS activities.
Familiarity with a variety of contract types including T&M, CPFF, FFP, etc.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent customer service, while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Familiarity with contracts and subcontracts for IT services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, file management and other automated system applications.
Effective communication skills.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
