Our client, a furniture manufacturer catering to customers across North America, is looking for a customer service guru to ensure the complete satisfaction of their customers in the following areas:
Customer service – respond to customer inquiries on their orders, confirm delivery dates, ensure timely response to all after sales issues, warranty administration – tracking and documenting of associated costs, maximize customer satisfaction.
Sales support – Order fabric memos, send sales materials to customers, provide product information
Quote preparation -Obtain fabric pricing, prepare freight information to obtain rate from the logistics department, coordinate with costing department, create cost sheets in Microsoft Excel to generate selling prices, generate quotes in Microsoft Word.
Purchasing support -enter purchase orders in ERP system
Qualifications: Inside Sales and customer service experience dealing with Canadian and US markets is mandatory. Strong sense of professionalism and courtesy when dealing with customers. Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills are required. Must be resourceful, determined and willing to take initiative. Expected to adapt well to a changing, complex and demanding environment. Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-through skills. Must be able to read drawings and work with plans and layouts. Design/drawing capability would be an asset.
Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel and Word are required. Must be proficient in French and English, both spoken and written. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience required in a custom manufacturing environment.
