A well-established and reputable food company is seeking a Sales Representative to oversee and expand its presence across the West Quebec region (including Montreal West, Îles-Perrot, Châteauguay, Beauharnois, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Rawdon, and Gatineau).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with grocery and retail partners throughout the assigned territory.
- Implement sales and merchandising initiatives to meet revenue and distribution objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure optimal product visibility, display execution, and promotional compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels, planogram adherence, and overall product quality to support sales growth.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and prospect for new business.
- Strategically plan weekly routes and schedules to maximize territory coverage and efficiency.
- Communicate market intelligence, competitive activity, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, performance tracking, and organized account documentation.
Qualifications & Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, with direct experience selling into grocery stores.
- Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Post-secondary education (business or related field preferred).
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable managing an independent territory.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
