Our client, a leading importer of outdoor winter accessories and athletic apparel for all seasons, is looking for an experienced US Director of Sales to join their team! Their US showroom is in NY. This role will play a key part in driving the next phase of growth for our client in the U.S. market. It is a unique opportunity to build and scale their U.S. business, develop new retail partnerships, and help shape the future of their brand portfolio!!
In this role, you will work closely with our clients leadership team to build the overall U.S. sales strategy and direction, while leading execution and driving growth across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the expansion of our clients U.S. retail footprint by identifying, developing, and securing new strategic retail
partners
– Take ownership of building and scaling the U.S. business, with a strong focus on new business development
– Manage and grow the U.S. sales team, providing leadership, direction, and support to drive results
– Oversee and run the U.S. showroom, positioning it as a key platform to showcase product and drive new
opportunities
– Build on existing U.S. accounts, working closely with buyers to unlock new opportunities and maximize
sell-through
– Align with our clients leadership team on U.S. sales priorities and drive execution across the business
– Play an active role in shaping product direction, assortments, and go-to-market strategies tailored to the
U.S. market
– Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to support continued growth
