Our client, a leading accessories manufacturer, is looking for creative talent to join its in-house Headwear Product Development team. Reporting to the Product Category Manager(s), this role will support the team in developing and delivering their accessories collections as well as manage all samples that come through the department for each release. The Product Merchandiser is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
Manage/monitor customer developments and orders between customers, sales, suppliers and internal departments.
Create and manage style developments and programs
Create and manage customer production orders with suppliers
Daily correspondence with vendors, customers and salesman
Identify and solve any problems that may occur
Follow up on lab dips, proto samples, fabric, accessories, PP samples, PS samples, lab test results to ensure timely receipt and response.
Create and update Action Calendars and Import Trackers.
Create or manage PO’S in ERP and keep the system updated with the latest revisions.
Create and update the Cost Sheet Spreadsheets.
Advise Traffic on booking approvals or rejections.
Review the customers. vendor manuals to ensure that all shipments will be compliant with customer needs
Requirements:
– At least 3 years experience in a relevant product related role, fashion industry is ideal
– Positive, self motivated and strong attention to detail
– Capable to meet multiple deadlines in parallel.
– Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
– Knowledge of Illustrator is required
– Fully Proficient in the English language- written and spoken.
