A growing and well-established women’s fashion company is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join their team in Montreal. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely on seasonal collections while collaborating with overseas vendors and internal teams to bring designs from concept to production.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and create women’s apparel designs aligned with seasonal collections and brand direction
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs with accurate product specifications
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors and makers regarding development and production follow-ups
• Track samples, approvals, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met
• Manage production details including labelling, trims, packaging, and approvals
• Follow up on corrections, comments, and quality concerns throughout development
• Support product development from concept through final production execution
• Handle administrative and clerical follow-up related to samples, styles, and vendor communication
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across collections

Requirements: 

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in women’s apparel design or product development
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes
• Experience creating tech packs and managing sample development
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage overseas vendor relationships
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fashion environment
