With an extensive portfolio of specialty food products and proprietary brands, they have built a strong reputation within the food industry and continue to experience steady growth.

They are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support their growing customer base and play a key role in driving sales growth across existing accounts.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing inbound orders, maintaining relationships with existing customers, promoting new products, and identifying opportunities to increase sales within assigned accounts.
This role is ideal for a motivated and organized sales professional who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and growing business through proactive outreach. The position also offers a potential career path into an Outside Sales role as the company continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and enter customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage relationships with existing customers through regular phone contact
  • Call customers on a weekly basis to maintain engagement and generate sales
  • Promote new products, special programs, and seasonal offerings
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the product portfolio
  • Provide customers with promotional information and pricing updates
  • Ensure orders are processed correctly and delivered on time
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information
  • Work closely with the sales and operations teams to support customer needs
  • Develop strong product knowledge across a diverse product portfolio

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, telesales, or inside sales
  • Food industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Comfortable working with order-entry systems, computers, and technology
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow within a sales-focused environment
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary ($45,000 – $50,000 + Commission)
