Our client, an importer of private label, licensed and branded apparel for men, women and kids is looking for a senior import manager to add to their growing team.
Responsibilities will include managing the day to day production schedule. Overseeing, managing and training production team. You will be the liaison with sales and will respond to shipping and production inquiries.
You must have a strong knowledge of garment manufacturing including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques. You must have previous experience managing production for large North American retail chains including Walmart, JC Penny, Sears, Target.
You MUST have experience with licensed apparel.You must be proficient in office, outlook and excel. Must be able to lead a team of production coordinators, tech pack department and knowledge of all production requirements and overseas communication.
