About the Opportunity
Our client is an established, privately owned food ingredient distribution company specializing in bringing high-quality European ingredients to the Canadian food manufacturing market. With approximately 10 years in business, the company has developed strong supplier and customer relationships and continues to expand its product offering and market presence.
In addition to ingredient distribution, the company operates a blending facility in Ontario, producing dry ingredient blends, baking mixes, clean-label preservatives, and other value-added solutions for food manufacturers.
The Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and grow its Quebec territory. This is a remote position for an individual based in Quebec who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and taking ownership of sales results.
The territory has an established customer base generating approximately $2.5 million in annual sales to Quebec manufacturers. The successful candidate will inherit existing accounts while focusing primarily on new-business development, with more than 80% of the role dedicated to prospecting and acquiring new customers.
This opportunity is ideal for a driven sales professional who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, developing a pipeline, and building long-term customer relationships. Previous food ingredient experience is an asset but not a requirement. The company is open to candidates from adjacent industries who demonstrate strong sales ability, persistence, and a genuine interest in the food manufacturing sector.
Comprehensive sales training and ongoing support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop product knowledge and build a successful territory.
