Our client, a leading Montreal based importer of apparel, swimwear, sleepwear and sportswear, is looking for an experienced and talented Brand Manager for one of their fast growing divisions. The lucky candidate will be responsible for licensed sales for multiple categories of one particular brand. Responsible for the annual sales strategy, budget and profitability of the business unit, leadership position in managing partners.
Responsibilities will include supporting the brand promise, vision and position. Develop pricing, channel strategy and seasonal sales programs with finance in order to develop KPI’s. Oversee product development and design, identify market gaps and needs and work closely with licensor to capture brand vision. Develop seasonal plans, travel to see customers and partners in the US, provide sales forecasting and inventory reports.
To qualify for this position, you should have at least 7-10 years of experience in a similar role (either Brand Manager or Sales Rep in the apparel industry). Bachelors degree with relevant business experience in marketing. Experience in product development and sourcing, business planning and an ability to exceed your goals. Travel to the US a few times a year.
