Our customer has been in business for over 50 years and has been behind several of Montreal’s greatest commercial and residential developments.
They currently have an opening in their Accounting department for a Accounts payable (A/P) clerk to help their two Canadian offices.
Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for all documentation relating to monthly expense accounts for stakeholders in both Canadian offices. You will ensure proper coding of invoices and data entry in their software. You will communicate with different departments to ensure expenses are approved. You will maintain payment files for monthly check runs and audits and respond to several inquiries from different departments. You will also be asked to help your colleagues in the Payable Department form time to time.
If you are fluently bilingual spoken and written, have a good knowledge of Excel, are well organized, can work under pressure with a high volume of payables we want to know you.
Our customer offers a Dynamic environment with a 37.5 hour work week (8AM to 4:30PM) with 1 hour lunch, Insurance, 4 weeks vacation (2 weeks in July and 2 weeks for the Holidays) and casual Fridays.
