Working closely with the President you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, inventory and costing for the companies production facilities and Montreal Head Office.  You will lead in-house and facility based accounting teams and ensure standards operating procedures are followed.

With your experience in manufacturing you will ensure all reports on production are being followed and managed. Your experience in Accounting and Finance will benefit you in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as well as the results analysis to help guide financial decisions for the company.  You will be a leader for the different accounting teams and monitor daily accounting operations and enforce internal controls.  You will prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts and make recommendations to maximize returns and limit risk.
You will implement more robust cost accounting methodology and improve profitability.  Coordinate Government Credits and and R&D claims and work closely with external partners ( Auditors, Legal, Consultants etc.)
You will participate in special projects, generate ad-hoc reports and travel from time to time to production facilities.

If you have a CPA designation and have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing (Food transformation would be considered an asset) combined with costing analysis and a strong knowledge of computerized accounting (Sage Accpac 300 would be considered an asset) we would like to know more about you.
